First yatai experience—atmosphere was incredible, music was impeccable, and we made conversation with the other patrons! The menu is available online in multiple languages and the young yatai owner is very friendly. The stir-fried mushrooms and yam with blue cheese was a unique dish that we enjoyed. Drinks were solid as well.

Run by a young entrepreneur, this is a new style of yatai specializing in drinks with some Izakaya food in a lovely environment. I had one of my best times in Japan here, maybe because I lucked out with the crowd, and I speak so-so Japanese. Made friends with some local Fukuokans as well as Thai visitors. I'm a light drinker and was able to get light alcohol versions of the drinks and also had a sake. Very happy for the owner because I know this is the social atmosphere he wanted to create. Not many seats so if you don't see anyone there, then jump in before it gets crowded!

Yummy food (the springroll was the star of the show). Great ambiance and vibe. Found this spot randomly and got lucky on a day when there was a fireworks festival happening with less people around. Was able to have a chat with the young owner. What an amazing first experience with a Yatai!!

Owner is cute and friendly. Food is nice. Vibes are great. Will definitely visit again.

Found this place via YouTube. Very limited seats. I think it depends on your luck. Sometimes you get a seat, sometimes you don’t. One of the fanciest ones around town, BUT prices are very reasonable.
