We popped by for a late lunch (last order 2:30pm). No queues. Being first timers, we studied their menu but quickly settled on their best-sellers: item 1 (beef & burdock tempura udon), & item 2 (the same as #1 and with egg). Orders were placed via the vending machine. Only after ordering were we ushered to a table. Our orders came quickly. And we ate just as fast. The hot bowls of noodles were satisfying. Recommended!
Ordered the burdock ramen and one with the beef. Udon was so bouncy and has a nice bite. Broth is very light and comforting. Pair it with the condiments, a total game changer. A total hidden gem.
This udon place was recommended to me by a local so I gave it a try. They're only open from 11am-3pm. The line to get in can get long, but it moves fast. After being seated, they took my order and wait time was about 10 minutes. Serving was big so I was not able to finish it all. The udon noodles were cooked just right. Soup was a bit bland for my liking (I got the egg drop soup with beef and burdock tempura).
Yummy! We got there at 11am when the restaurant open and got a seat right away (but there was a line before it opened). The tempura burdock was delicious! Highlight is definitely the soft and chewy fresh udon!
Easy, yummy and great value! Waited about 15 minutes around 1pm on a weekday.
