Nagahama Shimin Kyujo

Very friendly staff and guests, delicious food and great hospitality!

It was my first time at a Nagahama food stall, and I had a great time. Regulars and newcomers mingled and chatted, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Since it was a second stop, I only had beer and ramen, but the food the customers next to me were eating looked delicious. I'd like to go again when I travel to Nagahama.

My first meal in Fukuoka! It was conveniently located near my hotel. Having just returned from watching baseball, I was particularly interested in the restaurant's name! I loved the owner's friendly hospitality. He even asked me where I was from! 😄 The service was quick too. The fried rice with egg was light and the rice was soft, completely different from what I've had in Taiwan. I really liked the atmosphere of the food stall. It felt like a Taiwanese night market, or a Keelung temple street food stall where you can sit down and enjoy your meal at your own pace.

I went with my colleagues. After eating our fill of yakiniku, we wanted to drink a little more, so we went in. All the staff were bright and cheerful. We had six bottles of beer, oden, ramen, and yakiramen. It was delicious. Plus, there's a restroom right next door, so you can drink without worry.

I was brought here by a colleague from work. It's the easternmost food stall. It's run by a baseball-loving owner from the Kansai region. Each dish is coded like a baseball game, making the menu interesting to read. I was able to eat slowly, calmly, and enjoyably. I only intended to have one bottle of hot sake, but I ended up drinking about three!
