NGHÉ Rice Paddy Cafe

Such a beautiful vibe here. Warm welcome and good food. We came for lunch and also ordered take out for dinner later! It was that good. I also bought lovely handmade coffee cups sold there. The lovely lady, Man was so sweet she helped me pick 3 cups. The quality is really nice, better than night market cups. Definitely going back! Update: We went back a few more times : ) Highly recommend the coconut coffee, not too sweet lots of yummy toasted coconuts on top. My son and I took a picture with the two lovely sweet ladies there, Man and Thu! This was our favorite place to be in Hoi An. I have to come back here someday!

Absolutely incredible brunch spot! 🌾 The views overlooking the rice fields are stunning, and the whole place is so peaceful and relaxing. The food was delicious, definitely recommend the tropical bowl, it was amazing! 🥭🥥 The staff were also the sweetest, super friendly and attentive. Such a beautiful place to enjoy a slow brunch. 10/10, would definitely come back! 🤍

I absolutely love this place. It has become one of my favorite places in Hoi An, and somewhere I can happily spend hours just relaxing, eating, drinking, and enjoying the day. The setting is beautiful. The café looks out over rice paddies that seem to go on forever, and some of the seating is arranged right at the edge of the fields, so you can sit facing the rice with your feet dangling over the side. It is peaceful, serene and incredibly picturesque. The traditional-style furniture, conical hats used in the décor, bougainvillea, palms and all the greenery make the entire place feel special. One of my favorite things is how immersed in nature you are. There are always birds singing and flying around, along with lots of butterflies and dragonflies. Because the rice paddies and water come right up to where you’re sitting, you can actually watch the little ecosystem of the fields. I was surprised and delighted to see tiny crabs making their way through the rice paddies and feeding in the water. I’ve also spotted salamanders and little lizards. There’s always something to see, but at the same time it feels wonderfully peaceful. And then there’s the food! I’ve been here enough times to try quite a bit of the menu. The bacon toast with mashed avocado on sourdough, crispy bacon, green chili, onion and feta is delicious and very substantial. It’s also wonderfully messy, so grab some extra napkins! I’ve also had the Passion Brioche with passion fruit cream, which was lovely. Today I’m having the pancakes with seasonal fruit, granola and honey, with dragon fruit, mango and banana. I’ve worked my way through quite a few of the drinks too, including the matcha, coconut coffee, avocado coffee and traditional salted coffee. I’ve genuinely enjoyed everything I’ve tried. But as beautiful as the setting is and as much as I enjoy the food, my favorite thing about this place is the staff. They are wonderful, sweet, attentive and genuinely welcoming. After I’d visited a few times, they began recognizing me when I came back, and now it feels less like I’m arriving at a restaurant and more like I’m coming to visit good friends. If you want an immersive, relaxing atmosphere where you can settle in for a café day surrounded by the beauty and everyday life of the rice fields, this is the perfect place. I’m leaving Hoi An for a while, and this is genuinely one of the places I’m going to miss. Sitting here for hours overlooking the rice fields has become one of my favorite ways to spend a day. When I come back to Hoi An, I know I’ll be coming back here too. ❤️

If your looking for that perfect oasis in the rice fields then look no further. Nghe Rice Paddy Cafe is a gem. The staff are so sweet and welcoming and my food was delicious. Mẫn my waitress made me feel so at home. They have a great selection of drinks and an all day breakfast Menu. My Avacado, Feta and Bacon Toast was so delicious. I am looking forward to coming back and relaxing here again and trying more of their menu.

Biked here after my yoga class — this place did not disappoint!! I ordered the coconut mango smoothie and the falafel tacos. Coconut mango smoothie was great 10/10. Falafel tacos were okay. Not a lot of flavor, but I loved how fresh they were. Atmosphere of the place was 10/10. Gorgeous location and very kind staff. I would absolutely come here again and try out different menu items!
