Lily Cafe - Cao Lau Ong Lau

Highly recommend Lily Cafe! I came right when they opened, and within a short time the place was completely packed, so I’d definitely recommend coming early. And yes, forgot to take picture of the rest. Came hungry, left full and happy. For only 90,000 VND, you get to try all of Lily’s signature desserts plus a coffee of your choice. It’s such a great deal and definitely worth the calories! The highlight of my visit was Lily herself. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and passionate about what she does. Her genuine hospitality made me feel so comfortable and turned a simple café visit into a memorable experience. Everything I tried was delicious, the coffee was excellent, and you can really taste the care that goes into every bite. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Hoi An.

I tried Cao Lầu Ông Lâu in Hội An because it has so many great reviews online, and I was curious to see what made it stand out. The dish was definitely good, but to be honest, the flavor felt pretty similar to other cao lầu places in Hội An. Personally, I didn’t find anything super special or dramatically different compared to the usual taste. That said, the food was still enjoyable and satisfying, and I can see why many people would like it, maybe it just matches the “classic Hội An cao lầu” flavor that most visitors are looking for. Even though it didn’t completely wow me, it’s still a solid spot, and I’d happily give it 5 stars for being consistent and worth trying if you’re exploring Hội An’s local specialties.

This is the second Cau Lau we tried in Hoi An so we can really say the taste is sooooo much better than the last. My son who’s so picky even finished his own bowl. We came here as a family and the owner really makes sure to explain the menu in English. And they freshly squeeze the fruit juices. You can see how hygienic they are in handling their food and drinks which is a plus for us. Their dumplings and spring rolls are also so delicious, make sure to try them!

First time trying Cao Lau so not an expert on its taste or anything, but it was good. Noodles had a nice texture and the flavor was good but add chili, pepper flakes, and lime to kick it up a notch. Super affordable as it was only 30k for a small and 40k for a large bowl. The lady owner is super nice and friendly so stop by and give it a try.

Wonderful dining experience! She was such a friendly host with great English skills, and the food and drinks were delicious! The fans works good. Perfect for a quick break too. Would recommend highly for any travellers or locals alike 🐣
