I have visited Hoi An many times, and this is always my go-to spot. The grilled meat is incredibly fresh, has a beautiful color, and tastes absolutely amazing. It comes with a generous serving of fresh herbs and greens. The restaurant is very clean and features a unique, giant 2-dollar bill on the wall. Plus, if it's your first time here, the owner will kindly show you the best way to wrap and eat everything neatly and perfectly. I really love this place! 😍
Co Thu BBQ is an absolute hidden gem! The food was incredible — every dish was packed with authentic flavor and cooked perfectly. What makes this place even more special is that they only have two items on the menu, and honestly, that’s all they need because they’ve absolutely perfected them. You can taste the care and consistency in every bite. You can really tell this is a family-owned restaurant that takes pride in what they serve. The owner was unbelievably friendly and welcoming, and every employee we interacted with was kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s the perfect lunch spot, especially since they’re open from 10am to 5pm. Fresh, delicious food, amazing service, and a warm family atmosphere — Co Thu BBQ is the kind of place you can’t wait to come back to!
Hit the spot after a day of travelling.. simple menu, simple food, big flavor and fresh! Really only two options on the menu and they were sold out of the bowl, so we loaded up on skewers.. pit master was on point, grilling up the skewers on the spot (no reheating). The lady at our hotel said it's popular with locals and recommended we try it, I'm happy we listened. Planning to go back and try the bowl next (and more skewers).
Incredible food, super friendly and kind staff. They showed us the best way to wrap the bbq skewers in the rice paper and got us refills on greens and rice paper. Really cant beat the flavour and the price. 10/10 would come back
Got recommended this place by my tailor and my spa therapist! They love this local place. So we came , saw and ate happily! Lovely owners who showed us how it’s being eaten! Highly recommended and saved to come back.
