Baby Mustard

We absolutely loved our experience at Baby Mustard, we went for lunch, only a short bike ride through the rice fields to this riverside restaurant. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him, he took the time to tell us about his family and the food. We enjoyed a delicious Chilli Lemongrass chicken with fluffy fresh rice, the vegetables were crispy and delicious, fresh from nearby organic farms. We highly recommend you go. We left feeling satisfied before cycling back to the hustle and bustle.

A very Quite Eatery Restaurant hidden in the Outskirts of Hoi An. Worth to Visit & Check it out if You are in the Area. All the Food are Amazing, especially the Banh Xeo (Savory Pancake Wrap), Mango Salad and the Grill Meat Dish. These 3 are the Must Try! The Banh Xeo paired with their Unique Sauce is the Highlight of this Shop. Highly Recommend!

If you are in Hoi An and willing to go a little bit out of the city, make sure to put this on your list! We rented bikes for the day and ended up spotting this beautiful place while we were hungry, so we stopped in for lunch. Planning to go once more before leaving Hoi An to try more dishes. We had rice paper rolls (make them yourself) and a delicious squid salad. Their lemon juice is super zippy and delicious (ask for no sugar). There were two small puppies while we were there, looked to be about 10 weeks. The view from the tables was epic, and you could see the lady go out to their garden and pick your garnish. As “farm to table” as it gets, it was a wonderful experience. (Just don’t go when you are starving as it takes a little longer to cook each individual meal upon ordering, as fresh as it gets, definitely worth the wait)

Fresh food. Love all the dishes we ordered and the ginger and mint drink VND25k. Located at the vegetable farm but with blocked view of the farm 😞 The drink took about 10 mins to arrive and the food took about 15 mins. Tour guides pre-order the food for their guests. Not suitable for those who are in a hurry without any tour guides. Accepted cash only.

A must visit when in Hoi An! We went twice in the three days we were there. A nice change of pace from the busy streets just a few km’s away and surrounded by the vegetable village, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The service was what made it one of our favourites of the trip, family run and clearly put in lots of care in making each meal. The food is incredible, with seasonal produce fresh from the garden which is visible from the dining area. The clay pot chicken and the steamed mackerel with seasonal veg were the standouts for us. The reviews complaining about the wait times are silly. You wait longer than other places sure, but the time and effort put in to each dish, as well as being a very small family run business makes up for the 15 minutes you wait for your food (feels like nothing when you the views and atmosphere are as nice as they are!) Will definitely be back next time we are in Hoi An!
