This is a famous broken rice (com tam) shop in HCM. During lunch time is always packed with customers. You will see not only the local, there are also many foreigners and tourists that like to eat here. Mostly Koreans. The pork chop there is quite nice but I find the pork chop meat a bit too thick. I quite like their soup also. The staffs always busy and can be inattentive to your service. The price here is also quite expensive. Pork chop rice is 190k dong, soup is 50k dong. Any other add-on will be additional 10k dong. This pricing is considered expensive in Vietnam.

The food itself could be one of the best Com Tam in town. Meat is juicy and taste really nice. Anyhow their service was terrible esp. if you go during their peak time like lunch. Many customers waiting for the table while some bad customers take the table without queuing. They should think about better system. It took so long time until you can order and another long waiting until they serve you the food. Price is far above standard.

Known to be a very expensive place, expensive even by North American pricing standards. The most expensive cơm tấm place in the city, operating since 1989. I got the standard broken rice and pork chop, and all the add-ons, which is honestly too much, but my main goal is just to taste it all, since I don’t come to Vietnam often. My order: Cơm Tấm Sườn (Broken Rice with Pork Chop) 160.000 VND + Bì (Shredded Pork Rinds) 10.000 VND + Chả (Egg Meatloaf) 10.000 VND + Trứng (Sunnyside-Up Egg) 10.000 VND + Xíu Mại (Meatball) 10.000 VND + Lạp Xưởng (Pork Sausage) 60.000 VND If I do get this next time, I’d just get broken rice and pork chop, and nothing else. As for the price, I think it’s far overpriced, and this place isn’t THAT special. The pork chop is definitely good. Despite being a more lean cut, the meat wasn’t dry. It was thick and well grilled. Everything else was just alright.

If you don’t mind about pricing, broken rice with bbq pork chops here is 10/10, everything else is not perfect but not bad as well. Service is average. I came here for there signature dish, everything else is just a minor to me, that’s why I give them 4/5

OMG, this was my first time coming here. They were extremely busy—we had to stand and wait for more than 30 minutes, then sit and wait another 20 minutes, and finally share a table with other people. But everything was totally worth it. The grilled ribs here are very delicious—crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside, cooked just right. The seasoning is well-balanced and very flavorful. The bitter melon soup is also excellent. In total, including rice, soup, and drinks, it was about 250,000 VND. The price is a bit high, but the food is really good. We really like this place and have come back several times. The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. I will definitely recommend it to many others.
