Little HaNoi Egg Coffee (Yersin)

Came here during peak lunch hour and had a bit of waiting time but it was only less than 10 mins of a wait. Staff was very attentive to give us a queue number. Once we’re in, we were served with a complimentary drink which is great for the heat! Food portion is great for the price! Love the cơm tấm and the bacon breakfast was incredible! Lots of bacon stripes and avocados. The egg yolk coffee goes without saying! Yummy, creamy and truly an experience.

A very cozy place with a great ambience. It was a little difficult to find as it’s located inside an alley. When we arrived, there was no queue, but the place was filled with customers and seating was limited. It’s a nice spot to drop by for a cup of coffee. We ordered the iced egg coffee and coconut coffee. Neither had a strong Vietnamese coffee flavour, but both were quite unique and interesting to try. We also ordered their signature mango toast, which was decent. Their service was fast and responsive, and also we can get some small gifts to bring home.

They have an amazing and very comprehensive menu with plenty of options to choose from. Unfortunately, we were already quite full, so I only got to try their chocolate pancake and egg coffee. The chocolate pancake was a little underwhelming for me. It tasted alright, but it looked rather plain and was not particularly appetising. As for the egg coffee, I ordered the iced version. I found it a little bitter and quite thick in texture, which was not really to my liking. That said, I do not drink much coffee in general, so this is purely based on my personal preference. Looking at the other customers’ orders, I actually think the hot version might have been a better choice. What really stood out was the hospitality. The café offers a lovely selection of complimentary gifts at the counter for customers to take, including small handmade wallets, local snacks, postcards, free water refills, and other little souvenirs. When we arrived, they also served us complimentary iced tea, which was a nice touch. I picked up a small keychain to hang on my bag as a keepsake. The cafe itself has a wonderful atmosphere, with a pleasant aroma of freshly prepared food that makes the place feel warm and inviting. Even though the items I tried were not my favourites, I would still recommend stopping by for the unique experience and the genuine hospitality.

Tucked away with the charm of old Hanoi, Little Hanoi Café delivers comfort in the most understated way. The pulled pork sandwich was the highlight — tender, flavourful, and perfectly balanced with crisp fresh vegetables and soft bread that soaked up all the goodness without falling apart. The avocado coffee was unexpectedly addictive: creamy, rich, and velvety with that bittersweet Vietnamese coffee finish. A dessert and coffee in one glass. And the kumquat lemongrass ginger tea was the perfect counterpoint — bright, aromatic, and deeply soothing, especially in the middle of a humid afternoon. A lovely little spot that feels unpretentious, warm, and quietly memorable. Will definitely be back.

Little Hanoi (Yersin) never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, the service is warm and attentive, and despite the restaurant always being busy, the atmosphere remains surprisingly relaxing. The portions are generous and definitely worth the price. We especially loved the fresh salad sides and the Chicken Benny—they were absolutely delicious. This is a place we highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back for another meal!
