Bun Bo Hue Sen

Large place and accommodating with tons of fans for those hot days. The owners daughter was on point with service and her English was pretty good. Nothing really stood out in terms of taste but the meal was a bargain. 155k = 8.35 CAD - Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet which incompasses all the meats, Banh Loc and Banh Nam + iced lime-monade. The last two are steamed tapioca and rice appz filled with shrimp etc. This is the second Noodle place in Hue I've been too, 2/5. 5 stars for the service.

After hesitating because there weren’t a lot of diners (usually a bad sign), we just went for it since we didn’t want to look for another restaurant that would give us a similar impression. What we had was just spectacular! Of course I won’t be the best judge of Bun Bo Hue but then out of all the highly recommended restaurants we sampled in Hue, this one had a soup base that was my absolute favorite. It was very rich in pork and it was extremely flavorful. The other dish we ordered was a tuna meal that came with rice which was tasty as well. Great meals in this spot. Staff were nice and pleasing as well.

This is the most reviewed Bun Bo Hue restaurant in Hue as of my research. I had Dac Biet(Special). It was good but I didn't feel any difference from the other shops. I don't eat much of Bun Bo Hue, so I may be not capable to recognize even I eat Bun Bo in Saigon sometimes. Anyway, this is the one of the most popular Bun Bo Hue in Hue.

I ordered the Thap Cam for 55k. It’s a solid bowl, but wished there was more meat. There were 2 different cha meatballs and the pork bone so I guess the price is justified. However the broth was ok, and overall not my favorite in Hue.

Very good place to try special bún at Huè. Special thanks to staff Ms. Quynh Anh with good service and kindly explain the difference between traditional style. If you want to try the special one of bún, please notify her in-advanced to try the special of local taste. (Fruit are bought from another store)
