Banhmi Minh Khoi - Restaurant - Coffee

We ate here almost everyday during our stay in Tam Coc. The food is delicious from breakfast to lunch to dinner and at a good price! The staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend this place. Special mention to the smoothie bowl (the best we had in town) & all the rice vermicelli dishes.

We ordered banh mi here on two separate occasions, and while both satisfied our cravings and filled our stomachs, they still left our taste buds wanting something more. The first was the Minh Khoi Special & Veggie, listed as including grilled meatballs, egg, grilled chicken, pate, pork, and veggies. The portion of egg, served in a folded omelette style, was quite large and had an interesting buttery flavor that we personally didn’t care for. We could barely taste the pate and had to search for the minimal amount spread inside. It felt a bit more substantial than several other “special” banh mis we’ve tried, though at 55k, it felt overpriced, though expected given the tourist-heavy location. In comparison, our favorite banh mi spot from this trip near Hoi An charges only 20k for their special, with more authentic ingredients and significantly better flavor. In an effort to get more pate flavor, the second sandwich we tried was the Mix Pate and Egg for 30k. The egg portion was again large and piping hot, but we still struggled to find the pate. Overall, while the sandwiches were filling, the higher pricing, tourist-friendly menu, and lack of authentic flavor make this a place we wouldn’t particularly recommend. Service was adequate, though we ordered take-away. The location is right on the main boulevard, so the atmosphere can be quite noisy and hectic.

I went to this place twice, first I order the Bahn mi with grill chicken and it was really good, it wasn't grease at all, and it had a nice flavour, it was only 35k. The second night I ordered the special Banh mi and a mango, pineapple and banana smoothie, both were delicious, the banh mi was really big lots of meat, but amazing only 50k and the smoothie was really refreshing and tasty I paid 60k for it. The staff was really kind and the service was fast

Stopped by this place on two occasions. The staff are friendly and attentive, with a large menu and fresh ingredients. I had a banh mi on both visits, one with just egg, and one with mushrooms & egg. These are made fresh, with the omelette station visible from the restaurant seating area. The portion is a good size. I would recommend asking for less coriander, as the standard serving contains quite a lot, which may overpower the overall taste. My partner had the tofu in tomato sauce, which was nice and filling, not too sweet and not too salty, a good balance. The menu is extensive, so I’d recommend visiting more than once to try a few items. Overall a nice experience and some tasty meals.
