Leo's Garden Bar & Restaurant

Absolutely amazing experience here! I really hope more people come here, the service is so great and unique, Rose gave us some connection cards to play since we are a couple which was such a great touch to our experience here. We will definitely be back here when we come back to Ninh Binh! Also the food was so flavourful and had a comfort food touch to it. What a hidden gem. Sweetest garden in the back. Lots of menu choices for even picky eaters. Owner was adorable and her mom was too. She plugged in fans since we were hot. Delicious food. Food we had: chicken burger with fries, chicken and fried noodles, duck with rice, spaghetti, and spring rolls. Drinks ran the gamut from beer and soda to pineapple juice and a mango smoothie. Inexpensive. Delicious. Adorable. What more could you want? Go here.

A few days have passed and I’m still thinking about this restaurant and Rose’s kindness + hospitality. Beautiful atmosphere and cozy location. Please do yourself a favour and come by for a delicious meal and good local recommendations. My sister and I are vegetarian and this place had so many delicious options (the falafel burger was INCREDIBLE); there was real care and love put into every dish. We loved the food and service so much that we returned again a few days later—we had to rush to catch a bus so Rose carefully packed all of our food and even left a surprise for us for later. Thank you so much! Your kindness will be remembered and we’ll be sure to visit again when we’re back in town 🤍

I really like this restaurant, the food is delicious and fresh. You should try the spring rolls. I was impressed with their service; the lady was like a professional tour guide, able to answer any questions about Ninh Binh. There are many playing cards, flags, etc. I wish more people knew about it, as it's located on a small, peaceful street

My boyfriend and I dropped in this evening for something light to eat, after a very hot walk to the view point at Hang Mua cave. The food was really good, great value and we were given a free bottle of water, as it had been a really hot day. The best thing about the place? Rose - she's amazing! She gave us recommendations for what to do in Ninh Binh and places to eat in Hoa Lu, giving honest opinions about what she thought were the best options. We'd had a bit of a doozie of a day and Rose put us back on track with tasty food, helpful suggestions and a really kind and genuine manner. Thank you, Rose! Also, the couples card game we were given to play while we waited for dinner was really fun and baby Leo was super cute 🥰
