Choose Hideaway Restaurant and Homestay

As much as I love Vietnamese food, some days I need something else. I’m a bit of a pizza connoisseur, and the pizza here is amazing. Nice wood burning oven. Big beautiful restaurant as well, like paradise. Excellent service. Thank you.

Their restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service was great and the food was tasty. The staff was nice and very helpful. They have a pool table and soccer table available to have some fun with, which we happily did. I would recommend this place.

Visited this restaurant tonight, service was poor to start with I had to go try find a menu the staff seemed clueless, after ordering we stupidly waited 1hr and 50 mins for a bad burger bland with frozen chips not homemade as stated on the menu,at best tasteless and a plate of loaded fries. We aren't fussy but this is crazy and the place was empty. Save yourself the time effort and exspense and go elsewhere. We had high hopes for this venue as it looks the part unfortunately its far from that.

We took the overnight train to Ninh Binh and we got off just wanting a place to eat and relax before we started another day of tourist activities. This place did not disappoint. Only a few minute walk away from the railway station. This restaurant manages to be on a main road while seeming secluded. Surrounded in trees, relaxing music, helpful staff. Very accommodating to my husbands severe gluten and dairy allergies. We had a western style dish and a Vietnamese style dish and both were delicious and well cooked. Didn’t stay in the rooms hence the missing rating there

This hostel is located close to Ninh Binh railway station and local restaurants. The room unfortunately during the time i visited was very mouldy and had an awful smell, it seems from recent rain the room had become mouldy and damp. The dorm room also was not very clean, dusty floors and dirty bathroom. The sheets and bed were okay. Staff are nice and friendly. With a restaurant attached it’s a convenient place for food.
