Cơm tấm Út Vân - Ut Van Vietnamese Restaurant

Absolutely amazing place for an early dinner or lunch. The owners are extremely warm and inviting and they have a huge selection of food and drinks (alcoholic and kid friendly). We showed up about 3 minutes before a band arrived and the 2 women played traditional instruments during our entire meal, which was about 45 minutes. They have both indoor and outdoor seats avaliable, which we chose the outdoors for a more immersion experiance. There is plenty of lighting and the atmosphere is stunningly perfect. Our food was prepared in their outdoor kitchen and only took a few minutes to arrive. Everything tasted heavenly and I would recommend the coconut, it was so refreshing and satisfying after a long day of traveling. This was the first place that we ate at upon arriving in Da Nang and has set the bar extremely high for our expectations. We will definitely visit them again before departing the area. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and have about a hour to relax and take in true Vietnamese cuisine.

The service at this restaurant is it's excellent. they also have live music sometimes which is very soothing and nice in the outside area. Banh xeo was delicious. They make it really good and I had the vegetarian version of it. Well I would go again and I would recommend it.

Our best dining experience in Vietnam! The food is incredible here, with the star of the show being the mini egg and shrimp pancakes. This is a family run business and they are lovely people. Service was attentive and speedy. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

This is a great authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The price is very reasonable. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor seats. The facility is super clean. Toilets are restrooms are well maintained and spotless, which is always a good sign of high hygiene standards. The dishes I tried are very flavorful but not overly seasoned. The location is very close to the public beach access road. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers in this area.

I came across Cơm tấm Út Vân about four months ago, when I had just arrived and was still living in a hotel. The space feels authentic and inviting: tiled floors, simple wooden furniture, and a charming little courtyard that makes you want to linger a bit longer. It’s not polished or pretentious — and that’s exactly its charm. 👌🏻The service is just as special. This isn’t a generic restaurant with rotating staff - it’s clearly family-run, and you can feel it. There’s warmth, care, and that rare sense that you’re not just another customer passing through. 💕A lovely detail: the name Cơm tấm Út Vân translates to “broken rice by the youngest sister Vân” and that personal touch carries through the entire experience. 👌🏻And of course, the food is the real reason to keep coming back. The menu is well-balanced without being overwhelming. My personal favorites: 🫶🏼Roasted Chicken Rice - crispy roasted chicken with perfectly cooked rice 🫶🏼Mango Shrimp Salad - fresh, vibrant, and full of texture 🫶🏼Chicken Congee - soothing, flavorful, and wonderfully comforting for the stomach, like a warm hug on a cloudy day 👌🏻Portions are generous, making it excellent value without compromising quality.
