Bún kèn 87
Opening Hours
Why worth it
- Serves bun ken, a Phu Quoc specialty of noodles in a rich coconut and fish broth found almost nowhere else in Vietnam
- Rated 4.8, though with a small review count — likely a genuinely local, lesser-known spot
- Worth trying specifically because bun ken rarely appears on tourist-facing menus

Not a store but she sell it on he cart at the front of an Alleyway. Good Bún Kèn(Curry fish noodle) if you never tried it before.
This bun ken restaurant is also one of the famous bun ken in Phu Quoc. They use similar in texture, cooking method and ingredients to Ut Luom. Coconut based mince fish with cucumber, bean sprouts, Papaya. If you like That curry, you'll like this dish. If you don't like Thai curry, this is not for you.
Út Lượm restaurant is closed. I asked the locals and they directed me to the restaurant across the street. My impression is that the taste is similar, though this one is a bit sweeter. I'd rate the food 9.2/10.
First of all, the owner is incredibly friendly. It's a small street stall tucked away in an alley. It was my first time trying the fish coconut curry noodles, and it was so delicious that I licked up every last drop of the broth. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ👍🏻 Since it's Phu Quoc food, you should definitely try the bun ken~ There's also a yellow-signed stall across the street, but this one is much tastier!! A bowl of noodles costs 30,000 VND
