Bánh Giò Miss Béo

I simply have to give 5 stars for food, service & atmosphere because: 1. the food portion is huge and it is authentically Vietnamese; 2. the service is fast: there's no frills... Just point to their menu and they know what you want, plus the price is right. 3. the atmosphere... sitting on a small stool by the roadside, I've become one of Hanoi's citizen 😅 Best way to enjoy Hanoi. I would recommend this spot for a nice lunch after a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mouseleum before proceeding to the Tran Quoc Pagoda (West Lake).

The best banh Giò I've had. Friendly staff great food and fast service...... And its extremely affordable for the quantity. I looked around and people genuinely looked excited and happy to eat this treat. It's like your mother cooking your favourite meal when you go see her.

Great mélange of textures and flavours. No frills, order, eat, pay, get out. Sitting on the plastic stool and stooping over the meal off of a similar stool is not my idea of hospitable dining (-1 point). Would I come back? No but I would certainly order takeaway and eat in a better environment.

I actually ate banh gio at the shop next to Miss Béo because they had Bun Cha also that my friend wanted. But Miss Beo was a good place for Banh Gio. Its Banh Gio was a signature and was different from others. There were full topping. A place for a simple, casual taste of Hanoi

I’m from the south and this is very different from what I have in HCMC. The portion was HUGE, with full topping of ham. The bánh itself is quite soft, not my favorite texture of the food.
