Awesome food, we had the spring rolls with grilled meat and flat beef patties in (spinach?) leaves. The sweet lady who runs the place kindly explains how to make your spring rolls. And although the interior is basic at best, it’s the most becoming atmosphere to this kind of food. When in Hanoi have Bun Cha, have Pho Bo, but also go here for their fantastic food!!

Super local place specialising in just one thing - not a dish that is known by many tourists hence why it is a must try We ordered the Nem Lui (grilled spring rolls - includes the meat skewers) and Bo Lat Lo (grilled beef with guised leaves), the rice paper, vegetables and dipping sauce comes with these dishes. Highly recommend getting both because both taste soooooo good and you can add both into your spring roll. We were lucky to overhear a local lady at the next table explaining how to eat the spring rolls - you give the dipping sauce a mix then spoon some into a smaller sauce bowl for each person (can add chilli oil based on personal preference), then make the roll by placing a sheet of rice paper on your palm, add the vegetables first then the meat, then roll it up and dip it into the sauce We are normally a bit wary of eating salad vegetables in Vietnam but went for it anyways since the vegetables are an essential part of the dish, and we had no stomach issues at all after

Absolutely love this dish! We had Nem lụi and bò lá lốt and they’re absolutely delicious! Be prepared to smell like smoke though because the area is so small, the smokes are filling up the room. This restaurant is very famous with locals and not much of a tourist restaurant so the price is affordable however you really need to communicate with the younger staff because grandma doesn’t speak english 😅 overall I love this place and will visit again!

Local spot! The Bo La Lot (grilled beef wrapped in piper lolot leaves) was fragrant and very flavorful. Beef is thinly sliced and grilled and the leaves that wrap it gives it a herbaceous flavor. You wrap it with the other veggies and pickled papaya and carrots then dip it in the peanut sauce. Very well balanced.

A must try! Ive never had anything like this. So much flavor. Loved the smokey smell as it is cooked on a grill. The peanut sauce was so unique, best Ive had.
