Enjoyed a pork Bun Cha along with a spring roll. The pork patties were very flavoursome and smokey. A lovely reasonably priced meal. Quick friendly service in clean and cosy retaurant.
October 2025: I am a Level 7 contributor (>400 reviews) on Google and regularly review eateries to give my unbiased opinion. After having pho and bahn cuon for breakfast, I decided to cone here for Round 2. Bun cha in Melbourne is expensive. Hanoi offers cheaper alternatives. I wanted the combo bun cha but they have run out of spring rolls. I had to settle for the special bun cha which consist of meat balls and sliced barbecue pork, 50k VND. The taste is between 3 and 4 stars. Unfortunately, this eatery offers limited seating capacity: 2 small tables seating 8 people. If you are near thus location, no harm checking it out.
Lovely affordable bun cha near the local Dong Xuan market. Freshly grilled pork patties and slices over charcoal served with rice noodles and vegetables. Ancient stand fan blowing onto the hot coals encased within a gigantic vent also makes for a pretty gangster set-up.
Meal's over and I'm sad aven though I'm full. Instantly became one of my favorite meal on Earth. I have not had any Bún Chà to compare it against, but I can tell you it probably doesn't get any better than this.
Great Bun Cha! Really friendly and hospitable ladies. You can taste the authenticity, pride and love that they put into their cooking. A must try Bun Cha stall!
