Despite the constant crowd and long line, the service was efficient, and the breads were served fresh from the oven. The wait was definitely worth it! I tried King Roti in Hanoi and absolutely loved it! The buns are really, really tasty and definitely worth trying. They’re also very affordable—around 25 000 d (which is great value). They offer a few different flavors like chocolate, butter, custard, vanilla, and matcha. I tried the butter and chocolate ones, and both were delicious. I went early in the morning, so there was no queue at all and I got served straight away. However, I did notice that later in the day the lines can get quite long—but honestly, I think they’re worth the wait. Overall, a great spot for a quick, tasty treat!

King Roti was a solid stop and definitely worth the hype. The bun had that perfect contrast with a crunchy, slightly crisp exterior while staying soft and fluffy on the inside, which made every bite really satisfying. There was a constant line when we went, so expect a bit of a wait, but it moves fairly quickly. A bit disappointing that two of the options were already sold out by the time we got there, especially since we were keen to try more flavours. The one we had was good, though it wasn’t as hot and fresh as some other local spots we’ve tried, which would have taken it to another level. Still, it’s a place we’d come back to, especially to try the chocolate flavour we missed this time.

Walked past about 1530hrs; couldn’t resist the coffee fragrance smell. Short queue, order 3 types of buns to takeaway. All were delightfully tasty, pastry was light & fluffy. Went very well with coffee. A great snack!
