It's alright, the food is actually delicious! The springy rice noodle rolls and crunchy onions on top. I liked the egg roll more than the pork one. What brings this place down is the service. It just had a bad vibe, and as someone who really really enjoys the general vibe of Hanoi, it makes me sad. They even have a cute dog walking around the restaurant which I liked. This place is probably worth one visit to try it, but I'd likely not come back in it's current state. If you are a solo or duo traveler group be prepared to share the table with other groups, the place is small so they put people at the same table to save space and get more people fed, can be fun. If you get there right when they open you can get a seat fast and order quick, get the Chinese sausage to pair with your rolls, it's delicious. Not bad, but Hanoi has a lot more to offer, price is reasonable

Sinkie review for other Sinkies. Highly recommend to try this when you are in Hanoi, ordered the normal and the one with egg, and the one with egg surprisingly tasted better. Ordered the ham too which tasted great. Although it’s a touristy spot you can see many locals eating as well and the rolls are made on the spot. Very good breakfast spot where food does not taste too heavy.

This was quite an experience, having tasty rice rolls for breakfast and sitting among the locals in this tiny little Michelin spot. Definitely one of the culinary highlights of my trip to Hanoi! ✨ The queue was quite long but the staff works efficiently and the wait wasn't that long! I was seated in no time and my food was served within minutes. 10/10 would come back again! 🔥🔝

06.03.2026 Insta: torbo_food_adventure Just arrived with my sleeper Bus back in Hanoi and couldn’t cheek in to my hotel yet. So I was craving some nice, light breakfast and found this place. The restaurant was pretty full especially for 7am, however most were locals who probably wanted to eat something before they start their day. At the front of the restaurant you can see a lady making fresh Banh Cuon. I wasn’t super hungry so I just got one Banh cuon. Taste was amazing, probably one of the best Banh Cuon I had in Vietnam. Would definitely return. :)

This is Michelin? Rice pancake is soft, white and tasty - but I feel a little too thick and oily. I wish they use less oil a little bit. Sauce is standard. In general, the food is 4 star - in comparison with pancake in Hang Chieu street, or with pancake in Haiphong. The shop is narrow with a few seats, so a queue is expected before your turn. The bonus point is for the onion - it is crunchy and tasty. Price is very good - just 40-50,000 VND per pax.
